I am seriously thinking about getting a tattoo over my csection scar but the guy that has been doing my tattoos (a neighbor friend) acts like it will be hard to tattoo over and I may have to kind of tattoo around it. I'm a little disappointed because I'd like it to be at least partially covered. Has anyone had a tattoo over a scar? Can it be done or should I try to tattoo more around it?

Well, I know I'm late in responding to this, how old is your scar? My artist will be tattooing over mine (once my stomach returns to normal after this coming baby). He said there will be no problems with it. Mine is 9 years old though, faded to white, and no longer raised. I have a newer scar from an accident that's a year old, still red and raised, and he said we have to wait for it to heal more, or the ink won't take to it properly.

I really like the idea of doing this with my c-section scar at some point!
