I've never had one while pg! I had been having the tiniest pain several times a day for two weeks. It was in the same spot, on the left, every time. Wed. night I pressed the area and it was slightly tender and when I laid on my left side there was a faint aching. I called the mw yesterday because I was wondering about an ectopic. She felt the same thing and wanted me to go get an us right away.

So, the baby's in the uterus and there is a heartbeat. The tech believed I was 7 weeks and maybe a day or two, which is exactly what I calculated.

Don't know what the pain is. When I had the incomplete mc in Jan. and got an infection, the pain was on the left side. My colon cancer was also on the left side. She scanned my ovaries, too, so we'll see if the scans tell us anything.

Second part of the story, if you've read this far: 5 yo ds was looking at the us picture and points to the baby and asks "What's this?" I said "a baby". His eyes get big and round and he says "Ooooh. Where is it?" I pointed and said "in here". He gasped and got a big smile and hugged me, then asked "so, are you gonna get pregnant?". I laughed and said "I already am." My 8 yo ds heard all this and got all excited and hugged me too. Then all the chatter began about how we need another boy and "Which do you want, Mama?" The girls, of course, want a girl. They've known for several weeks, but I wasn't planning on telling the boys until my first appt. in Sept.

Awww! How cute! I'm glad everything is OK. Hopefully the pain stops or they figure out what it is and can help you.
