Those who had set workouts before getting pregnant, are you still exercising now?
I have been running 2-4 miles daily and some minor strength training after.

I barely ran 2 miles today and I am pretty sure it's safe since its something I have been doing. I drink plenty of water and stop when I am tired.
Just curious what others were doing?

I was working out, at least trying too. Now I have been trying to relax since they found a sch in my u/s the other day. Hoping it heals by my next u/s so I can at least get back to doing something, I kinda feel like a lop, I am always very active. Of course I still chase Isaac, that isn't an option lol.

Yes, still exercising. Hope to continue. Last pregnancy I felt so bad all the time and dud not keep exercising. But so far, so good.

I tried exercising this summer and couldn't keep it up. Now that school is back in session I make about 20 trips around the school in a day (I am on the south west side of the school and the front office is on the north east side) as well as constantly walking around the classroom. I think I get enough walking in. My back is killing me by the end of the day.

I have been either walking or using the elliptical for about 20 minutes every day. I also do some body weight squats and light arm weights. One day I started cramping while I was exercising so I stopped right away. Other than that I think it is safe to keep doing what you were doing.

Funny story: I actually was going to start doing couch to 5k when I first decided to ttc but I didn't because I thought I would get pregnant quickly. Turns out I could have been an actual runner by the time I got pregnant. Now I will just start a few months after the baby is born.

Couch to 5k is the best!!! I was re-doing it & signed up for a 5k on September 30, but I've been sick for the past week (sinus infection, sore throat, congested), and so just going up the steps, I feel short of breath. Hoping I can get back to it this week, but I will definately not push myself like I would've if not pregnant.

I've been walking. I was running up until last month, but I have runner's knee so I stopped running a few weeks ago. I will keep up the walking and probably get a workout dvd for pregnancy.

No exercise routine for me unfortunately....I've been told to take it easy because I've had spotting almost every day for a week now.

I did a lot of high intensity workouts before the pregnancy. I'm still doing cardio but keeping it low impact. I go to flamenco dance class at least once a week and do some strength tranining. I just listen to my body so if I feel winded or tired out I slow down or take a water break. So far I have had no issues and I plan to keep on going

I have been working out with a trainer three times a week for over 7 months and then do Zumba 4 times a week. I did a lot of research, talked to dr, and talked to my trainer about continuing. Each told me it is ok to continue to do what I am doing with just a few modifications as I get farther along.

I plan to continue weight lifting (and I hit it pretty hard) throughout but with the modification of not lifting while laying verticle on my back. They also said as I get further along not to do any jumps that both feet come off the ground in Zumba... other than that I plan to just listen to my body.

01/21/11... RE called 7 eggs are good quality, 3 eggs are questionable, and 2 eggs didn't advance and were disgarded.

I'm not doing anything except walking right now. My dr wants me to chill until we get to the first ultrasound. Then I can go to low key stuff like yoga and light weights through the first trimester. After that I can pick it up a little.

I am still exercising but I'll tell you, as soon as I hit six weeks my stamina went way down. I could bareley kep up w even my favorite class last week! My heart rte is up and I'm sick to my stomach. I'll stick it out the best I can bc I figure even a half hearted work out is better rhan sitting on the couch. Like doing right now.

i was regularly exercising before my bfp. school starts for my oldest this thursday so i plan on going back into the gym and walking a few times per week.
