I have a muscle in my lower back that I re-injure every couple of months. Before I was pregnant, I took a flexeril (muscle relaxant) at night and Ibuprofin during the day. I know flexeril isn't safe during pregnancy, but what about ibuprofin? Is there any other kind of muscle relaxant I can take?

Usually it hurts when I run, today I picked up the 20 lbs of carrier and cat at the vet badly. Then my 5 year old decided he couldn't see up on the table and jumped on my back.

i would say your best bet is to either call your doc or pharmacist, i just wouldnt want you to get the wrong info and have something go wrong

yeah no ibuprofen just Tylenol. ibuprofen restricts blood flow so they give it to you after labor to stop bleeding but from what i understand it can restrict blood flow to the baby during pregnancy.
