please be careful as the doctors office often uses your Social Security number as your ID # which is printed right under your name on your ultrasound photo. I know mine does and I've seen a few others. You can simply add your photo to your paint program on your computer and paint over the # real quick before uploading it.

Thanks for the heads up. I don't think my doctor does this but I would have never thought to look. Could you maybe pm the ones that you noticed so that they can take them down? Especially now that everyone coming on this board can see this post and find out about the SS numbers.

Thanks for the reminder. The military uses my DH's SSN for EVERYTHING so I'm sure that will be on the u/s once we get one done!

Yeah, my doc has private code numbers, so even though it looks like the last four of my SSN, it's just some random four-digit number.

I think it does depend on the office.
