I'm a bit nervous! DD is in JK and she is done school two weeks after baby #2 is born and will be home for the whole summer. DD was a VERY difficult baby. Screamed constantly, never ever slept for more than 20 mins at a time and wanted to breastfeed constantly. This stopped at about a year but it was incredibly rough (in fact she still doesn't sleep). DH works 12 hour days fairly often and quite frankly i'm terrified at the prospect of having DD AND a newborn to take care of. She'll be 4, but she's still rather clingy and as much as she loves school, she wants me to do everything with her at all times. Very high energy and rambunctious, and definitely has "only child syndrome" With DD i would take naps when she did or lay down etc. and this time I won't be able to, and aside from that I feel bad that I won't be able to give her as much attention. For all the moms of two, how did you manage to keep your other child occupied and happy while you cared for a newborn?
