For those of you with an unplanned pregnancy what has helped get you excited about the baby? I need some serious help and I feel awful for feeling that way!

A few of ours have been total surprises, and at least one I definitely did not "want' another at that time... I don't think there is anything that you need to do, and there is certainly nothing to feel bad for! I think for me that one time, acceptance came gradually and it wasn't even until maybe halfway through the pregnancy (when I started getting over m/s and feeling better) that I started to think about the baby with excitement and happiness.

Thank you for that. I told my husband maybe if we talked about boy;s names it would help. And it did I was busted up laughing at his suggestions.

This wasnt a total surprise but it wasnt planned in my mind either. We were planning originally on waiting till next year to try since we didnt think our condo would sell so quickly. Because it did and we bought a new home my husband wanted to try one time just to see and well one time is enough sometimes I guess. Mentally I wasnt ready as I was living in our original plan of next year so Im having a harder time adjusting I think and whats helped me a ton is online window shopping for baby I love dressing my little guy up but styles arent as cute as they grow up so Im loving looking at all the adorableness that layette has and dreaming of new one's wardrobe. Not sure if itll help you but it has helped me a ton.
