Is anyone else really itchy? I know its getting close to winter so dry skin is an issue in general but I have such itchy skin on my back, thighs, rear etc I use baby oil constantly and am still scratching all the time. Its driving me a little crazy!

I get itchy when it gets colder. And as our skin starts stretching, we'll start itching more. I think lotion/baby oil/cocoa butter will be our skin's best friend for the next 7 months!

I get it soooo bad. I actually got worried and went in for blood work because I knew it wasn't just dry skin from stretching or cold. I would douse myself in baby oil and it only helped a little bit! Here is some things that have helped me..

-I keep my room super cool at night. The heat makes it worse. So I crack a window or leave a fan on
-I take a benadryl at night because mine gets worse at night. (I checked with the OB about taking it, he said it is fine.. even up to 2 a night)
-I put a little bit of baby oil in the tub and make sure the water isn't too hot! The heat is the enemy unfortunately
-I had to switch to sensitive skin laundry detergent, that helped.

Hope you get some relief soon!

I had itchy skin really bad last pregnancy. I used to make my oldest (she was 2 at the time) scratch my back where I couldn't reach because I couldn't take it
