Constipation sucks! I usually go between constipation some days and diarrhea the others.

Yup. That's what made me test. That was my first symptom last time, and I don't usually have that problem. It sucks. My doc said I can take Colace, but I haven't been that desperate yet. I really don't like the idea of taking any meds now unless I absolutely need to.

I tend to have this problem pregnant or not. What works best for me is a combination of fiber (I use psyllium husk) and stool softener. Milk of Mag is another one that is considered safe. Exercise also helps me, nothing like a four-mile run to get things going.

I eat a decent amount of fiber normally, but pregnancy always backs me up. As odd as it sounds, running also works to get things moving again. So I only get relief twice a week

I usually am able to go in the morning but throughout the day if I need to go, I can't until the next morning or morning after that

Yup add me to this joyus list!! I am hurting. I got a really bad hemmeroid - sorry tmi maybe - delivering my last daughter and somehow it has magically reappeared after 18 months!! What?? So that combined with extreme constipation and rock hard stools I am hating sitting down. Ahhh but these little beans are soo worth it!!!
