I am not sure what they are going to do for my first appointment on the 26th.. but I am assuming they are just going to do a urine test.

Could I request to have my blood drawn for betas? (just out of curiosity)
Or is that only if I have had a previous miscarriage?
I did lose one child, but I went to premature labor, and he passed away a couple hours after birth.
I have had 2 normal pregnancies after him.

They may try to talk you out of it if they think you don't really need it but you can always bring it up.

Thank you Quantum_Leap for my fabulous signature!!!

you can certainly request it, but you may need to pay out of pocket b/c the doctor might not be able to justify it to insurance. i never had them done before (always just the urine test confirmation) until this pregnancy, but that's b/c of my 10 week loss back in march.
