I wanna hear your stories about funny/cute/touching things that kids you know (your own...niece's/nephews..etc) around the holidays. Im sure you may have a few come to mind

Mine is on DDs first xmas she was a month and a half old and DH and I went a teeny bit into new excited parent overload and her gift pile surrounded her like a mountain. Some of it was practical...teethers n rattles etc. Some of it she didnt use for a good 6 months. Anyway i wanted pics of her near the tree as we all went out into the mountains to find it and cut it down. Well we got a few good pics n DH wanted a few more of himself holding her up against the tree and im guessing the up and down movement got her cuz mid click of the camera she projectile spitup on germ freak DHs head. Spitup everywhere! Immortalized on film forever lol. I put the pic in her scrapbook and her baby book. The look on DHs face...priceless!

haha. A couple years ago Easton asked Santa for PopTarts

This year he wants a waterbed and cologne. How a 7 year old knows what a waterbed is is beyond me

Lily was a month shy of turning three one Christmas. We thought everything was good- she got some cute outfits, fun toys, etc. Well a month later she says to me very serious that she was disappointed in Christmas. I asked her why. She said that Santa didn't get he what she wanted. I asked her what she meant because she got some good stuff. Apparently she had told the mall Santa that she only wanted a purple flag and she didn't get it. I was thinking to myself that we could have saved quite a bit of money if all she wanted was a purple flag. A few months later we were at the beach with a kite and flag store, so we let her pick out one that was purple. Lesson learned: ask your kids what they tell Santa

My daughter was a preemie, she is 4 but she has been developmentally delayed... so this season has been the first "real" experiences that she has been a part of. Well she LOVES to sing, but she hasn't learned the words to Christmas songs completely. but she tries But the other morning I heard her singing, "Jingle Bells, Jingle Bells, up the water spout, down came the rain and washed the spider out!" It made me laugh. I better get working with her on the rest of the words!
