I am dying to know if my BH contractions are doing anything other than annoying me. They are super tight, but they are more prominent in my lower back and on my sides than in the front. I also have one spot behind my front pubic bone where it feels like she is on a nerve every time I stand up and sit down when I have them.

Anyone else having BH's in their back?

Not yet...but then again, I'm also 4 weeks behind you, and I *just* started having them. Mine don't really hurt or anything either. I'm sure if you asked me this in a month, I might answer differently

Thanks *Kiliki* for my amazingly perfect siggy!

I really don't get many BH at all and this is also my third which I find so weird! I wonder if I have an insufficient uterus that doesn't contract properly because my water has broke with my first two and while I did get contractions immediately after, they were never productive in dilating my cervix and I needed pit!

I still don't know if these are just BH or if they're something more, but anyway I have back pain and tightness with them, as well as crampiness and pain in the front in my ab area (like where it hurts when you have AF). When they get bad, they also include pressure in my bum area . . I always get nervous but then they end up tapering off so I figure, so far so good. I've only got a few more weeks now anyway until full term so I just try not to worry.

I'm also curious to see if they have done anything for my cervix though! I wonder if I'll get a check next time, I kind of hope so.

When I get BH now the whole front area of my stomach flattens...seriously looks like a square. If I have a "contraction" I feel the tightening start and then a dull ache sets in below my belly button and works it's way to the side and I have started feeling them a bit in my hips. I think every contraction BH or not is going something...toning...whatnot.

My BH have started thinning out my cervix. I was in the dark until I asked my doctor about it. I kind of thought that thinning and dilating were related to hormones, but nope, guess not. Also, I'm not sure - didn't think to ask - if BH were to blame, or if I truly was having contractions....???
