How worried should I be? Yesterday morning I work up with possible cramps, but I chalked it up to possible constipation. This morning the same. I'm going to call my midwife but the don't open for another hour. I'm nervous bc of loss last year. The "what it's" are seriously invading. I'm 10 1/7w today. I haven't had a scan yet. No bleeding. I'd had the "uterus stretching" cramps until about 6w then they've gone away.
So midwife says maybe I'm dehydrated. She suggested i drink 3L of electrolyte drink! But asked me to come in for my piece of mind. She'll try to hear hb with Doppler. If she can't then I have option to go to u/s. again, not bc I gave her any indication that there's a prob but just to ease my worry. I'm heading to office in 1.5hours. I'll be in touch after. I really hope I don't need u/s. I'm scared to get a scan bc last year at the m/c the was so much drama at the scans. Come on little bean- let us catch your hb...

So midwife could not get hb with Doppler. I'm waiting to be seen for scan. I'm scared. I hope all is ok. I'm still cramping. Almost 2 liters I've drank.

I'll share update as a new post.

How bad are they? Are they really painful to where they stop you from what your doing or are they more like twinges that come and go? This is my 2nd pregnancy, with my daughter, I felt many cramps throughout. Lots in the 1st trimester because your insides are literally moving around trying to make room for your growing baby. Hopefully it's nothing and just normal pregnancy pains.

Thx ladies. They're not painful enough for me to want to do something (like medicine or heat pack) but they're enough that I take note. Maybe like 2-3:10. I'm just a worried wreck bc of past loss. Amazing what the mind can do. I left voicemail with midwife and am waiting for their call back. I feel a bit reassured.

I'm sure everything is fine but it never hurts to have it checked out! Even if it's just for your own peace of mind. Your mind is probably just over reacting because your so afraid because of your past loss. I cannot relate to the loss, however, I can relate to the being super paranoid at every little pain and change! Unfortunately, it never stops lol even after little one is here, it just gets worse and worse. I hate to see what i'm going to be like when my kids are teenagers, oh lord. LOL
