So, two (TWO!) ultrasounds last week showed Thumper was head down. One on Wed, and one on Fri. I go for my repeat 3D u/s last night, and she's breech AGAIN!

So, she's being nice and letting me come for one more recheck (they usually only do one) but tells me if she's still breech "you can pick out a picture frame or a onesie or something..." Yeah, ok, I want to pay $130 for a frame or onesie? I think not.

So, I just have to hope this little stinker changes position AGAIN. It won't matter much for delivery since I'm having a repeat c/s, but I would really like to not waste $130.

I thought something was up when they (the NP) did a very quick scan on Wed and said she was transverse. Now, the NP wasn't very good at getting any sort of picture at all, but her head certainly wasn't down I guess.

The funny part is, I think she flipped to head down a day that I had the heating pad on. I felt a ton of movement, I explained it as "like she was trying to get away from the heat." But it really felt like she was using my side for a treadmill. Then the movement changed -- for the better -- I could feel her MUCH better. (I have anterior placenta that is high -- so it runs from just below my belly button all the way to my fundus, so pretty much my entire front of my belly -- this explains why I feel so little movement.) And over the weekend, she used me as a treadmill again, and the movements were back to being in my pelvis and not as noticeable, so I should have know she flipped back.

I just seriously cannot believe that after being head down for a week AT LEAST, she flipped back, this far into the pregnancy.

I guess I'll be trying spinning babies if I don't feel her move back soon, just to be selfish and not waste my $$$.

Man, she is being difficult. I really hope she decides to get back head down so you don't waste your money. Silly girl.

Sorry she isn't bahaving for you. I know how disappointing it is when you just want to get a good picture of them and they won't allow it.
