We took my son and my nieces to a waterpark hotel about an hour from home this weekend. I really needed something to get my mind off things. Not sure these three kids that are never in a good mood at the same time was the best answer but it is working for the most part. I'm still unbelievably heartbroken. I'm not only upset about the loss but how the tech and even the doctor looked so shocked when I was breaking down crying as if what had happened didn't warrant that reaction. Anyway, we leave in the morning and we did have a great time. I am really crabby and kind of short tempered with the kids though, and I feel guilty about that. I've been reading and keeping up with you all I just can't bring myself to post much but I will get better I promise. I'm trying to focus on how happy I am about the fact that I do get to still stay with you guys. Thanks for listening

Give yourself the time to grieve and we will all be here to support you when you are ready to start posting more again. A loss at any point in a pregnancy is devastating and I think it is crazy that the tech and doctor were shocked by your reaction! It feels very justified to me! Take care of yourself mama! Sending thoughts and prayers

Hugs hun. There a some mamas who have lost one twin on the Pregnancy and Motherhood After Loss board, if you want to find support among ladies who have been through the same kind of loss, it is definitely unique and not everyone understands the feelings of loss and grief you are experiencing. I am glad you are taking care of yourself and sorry you had to deal with such heartless medical staff.

I think your feelings are natural. You lost a child even though the other twin is still growing. You'll be in my thoughts
