Just curious about how long you all wait up until your due date before washing all your LO necessities? And when (if you havent already) will you be installing your carseat?

I have already washed and put away everything. We bought our car seat this weekend and plan on installing it in a couple of weeks. We want to look up somewhere where they can check the car seat for us.

I washed his 0-3M and 3-6M clothes a week beforehand. I held off on the newborn clothing till I saw how big he was...if he had been over the newborn size range I could exchange the stuff for the bigger size.

DH installed the carseat a few days before he was born.

I washed everything from Newborn to three months already.

The carseats have been installed for about two weeks.

I've washed all my NB-6mos, even though i'm sure i'll rewash the bigger stuff again. I'll probably have DH install the carseat this weekend.

I started washing yesterday. I'm washing NB (I don't have much of it so I probably would never get around to exchanging it anyway, so I went ahead and washed it and I'll just hope he's not too big for it!) and 0-3 only. The bigger stuff I'll wash when he's almost ready for it.

We don't have our carseat yet but I'm not too worried about installing it until he's actually here.

Went ahead and did all that since I'm having issues and will not go full term. Sitting on go!!!

Already washed and put away NB and 0/3m clothes a while back. Thats all the clothes we have for right now, besides just a few things which I'll wash when he's close to wearing them.

We have the carseat and will put it in after Christmas. I'm dying to do it now and get it out of the way of DS's bedroom but I'm thinking we'll probably need the backseat for gifts at Christmas

I washed all the nb- 3 month clothes. Also already washed blankets and stuff like that too already...I even boiled the pacifiers lol. I didn't install the car seat yet, I have a sedan with 2 booster seats in the back already, so I probably wont install the seat until baby is here.

Thank you *Kiliki* for the awesome siggy

We are moving this week and I do have plastic bins, but was trying to debate whether to wash now or when we are in new home?

I washed a few things that I got from a resale group a month or two ago, but now that I've gone through what we had, and got 2 big bags from my sister, I'll probably just run everything through again before I put it away. Which will be sometime next month once the furniture gets here and we're through with the holidays. Bigger stuff will go in a bin in the closet and get washed when she's closer to fitting into it.

The carseat will probably be installed when DH takes us home from the hospital That's probably when DS will get to turn to FF also. so DH will have plenty to do

We haven't washed anything, nor installed our car seat. I haven't even taken the tags off anything yet!

I think my plan is to wait until after Christmas, then start doing that stuff. Will probably leave all tags on most NB clothes since Scooter is measuring so big, though I will wash the one NB outfit that he would come home in. Same with a lot of the 0-3 clothes, since we have so many.

Car seat is going to be installed the weekend after Christmas!

Thanks *Kiliki* for my amazingly perfect siggy!

I read that it is recommended to install the car seat 3 weeks before your due date.
