I am seriously needing to feel this baby moving around. I had a hard time feeling like this pregnancy was real before my dr appt. Ive gotten to see baby moving around in there but this pregnancy still just doesnt feel real. I am all over the net looking at baby stuff that i like trying to make it seem real but still it doesnt feel real. With DD i was talking to her daily by this point and super excited. And i really havent done that with this baby. I feel so horrid for this I just want to feel those kicks all the time right now!!

I feel the same way. I am worried I will wait so long for it to seem real and then before I know it, it will be over and I will regret it!

I've been struggling with that feeling also. I feel like this baby is neglected. I feel like I'm so focused on DD, DH, work and everything else that goes along with life that I don't have time to recognize or enjoy this baby. I'm praying too that once I feel those kicks more often it will help me connect more.

Me too. DD takes all my spare energy. The pregnancy is just this background reason for various appointments and medical things, and the reason I feel like crap and had to wean.

Then again I didn't feel like I connected too much to DD until I could feel her AND I *looked* pregnant. For some reason that made it very real to me. I am not showing at all yet, just look like I have a little beer gut. I am very tall and it took me a long time to show with DD.

I think deep down we are so scared about having time/money to have this baby we are faking being excited about it. Whenever I start feeling really crummy, I buy a blanket or a onsie and it helps.

I can feel flutters at night if i lay real still and stretch out.

I am the same way. I am hoping I become more excited once we find out the gender.

I'm feeling similarly. I'm not sick all the time anymore, not showing, haven't gained weight, haven't really told anybody even. I know I'm pregnant, I'm sure everything is fine, but I don't *feel* it yet at all. Feeling baby move will certainly help.

At least Im not the only one. I think part of it is caused from when we started TTC i figured it would take several months like with DD...instead the first time worked. I am starting to look pregnant but i think i look just plain fat. And I really havent felt anything significant yet as far as flutters.

I think feeling this baby move will help a lot with me connect too. I am not really feeling like I am actually pregnant yet, hopefully I will soon.

I feel the same as you! We worked so hard to get pregnant so it really just won't sink in. I'll have an u/s and be so happy for a few days, then I start to worry again. It won't sink in until I feel movement, which still might not be for another month! Ugh.

I haven't felt a single flutter and that always worries me because this is my third and I'm pretty small so I feel like I should be feeling at least a little something by now. I'm also in the boat of being so busy between work and two young kids that I feel like this whole pregnancy has kinda been put towards the back of my mind. I'm hoping that once I start feeling movement or know the gender, I will be able to bond a bit more.

I will join you guys in saying that i have felt the same way. Not too overly excited or feeling very connected yet. i think that after the ultrasound and finding out the gender we may feel a little more excited.

This being my first, I feel like I should be a lot more crazy about this baby, but I don't feel pregnant anymore. Luckily I had a regular appt this past tuesday and got to hear the heartbeat...but it was like a whole 5 seconds of excitement then over. I think it's just because I'm so stressed about everything with moving in a few months, money, health insurance when I move and lose my job, the stuff between me and the baby's dad...I dunno. It looks like lots of us are feeling this way, so maybe it's just hormones? Who knows. Sorry you're feeling this way, too!
