Ok, so last night I experienced something I have never experienced before.... and it was a bit weird.

Hubby and I were laying on the bed practicing our Bradly exercises and suddenly I felt this weird sensation in my vagina. (Sorry!) I am not sure how to explain the sensation... It was definitely on the inside, and it was a pleasant feeling that only lasted a moment then went away. Then a while later it happened 2-3 more times. Today it happened like twice early in the afternoon.

So what the heck is it?!?!? I only have two ideas of what it could be. Either some kind of contraction (but I get Braxton Hicks regularly and it feels nothing like those) or the baby's head or hand or something hit me right in the cervix opening. I think this one is more likely but it just feels so much different than a poke, jab or kick. Maybe it feels different because it is in such a sensitive area???

And when I say i felt it in my vagina (sorry!), I really mean inside my vagina (sorry!). So I don't know, can the baby really make me feel kicks in there??? Am I a freak???

I've been getting these little shocks inside my va-j .. Like a little shock of electricity or something.. Just for a second or 2. It feels right on my cervix, and inside my vagina. Is that what it feels like, like a quick little shock/stab.. Not painful, but not overly pleasant either?

Yeah, maybe a little shock is a good way to describe it. Mine are not painful at all, and are actually a little pleasant. (Which is kind of creepy... lol)

If your baby is on your cervix, it isn't going to be a pleasant feeling. I have been feeling a lot of pressure and it feels like I'm bruised. And my baby's head is right on top of my cervix because we saw it on the last U/S.

When I do the Kegel excercises, I get a different sensation. Maybe you are squeezing those muscles.

I get those lightning pains down there, but I would def not describe them as pleasant, so I'm not sure it's the same thing..LOL!

I can't say I've experienced that. Instead this little one makes me feel sore and bruised down there!

****... Well now I feel like a freak. Oh well, I guess if it doesn't hurt then I shouldn't worry too much. Thank you for the honest replies ladies. Haven't felt it since yesterday morning, and hopefully it was an isolated incident.

I'm getting quite painful shocks since Rylie is head down. When she moves her head it's like the most painful thing ever for a split second. Do you know if baby is head down? If not and baby is brushing up against the cervix lightly it could feel good (Rylie used to do that and I swear she would drive me crazy).
