I got to be two weeks past due in Houston July! It wasn't that terrible. The pools being open was a SAVING GRACE and at some point I said I'd only have summer babies so that the pool would be available.

I guess I am lucky that living on the other side of the world, September is spring for us. So your summer is my winter. Though if it were the other way around, we do have a pool and I love to swim.

My first 2 were born late March. My last was middle of Sept.
I actually liked being pregnant in the summer. There was a week in July that was miserably hot but I just stayed in the AC. Mostly I liked that after I had the baby the weather was still beautiful. During my maternity leave I was able to talk walks outside and enjoy the fall.
With the 2 that were born in March I had to go back to work just as the weather was just getting nice.

My first was born in July. I was in Alabama from December until May and the sucky part was, it had gotten so hot that the AC kept going out. It was horrible. I purposely slept all day long and woke up around 6-7 when the sun went down.

Blended Family of 5 and 1 on the way.

My first 2 are oct. so I was very preggos during the summer. It's not that bad. I'm
Miserable in the summer anyway and didn't find it to be worse. Always walk around with some frozen water bottles. Plus an elastic band skirt works great for maternity. Old navy has some non- maternity roll band cotton skirts that look super cute with tanks.

The weather outside with fall babies is so nice. I can be outside, walk , and enjoy the fresh air. Once winter comes the baby is still small enough to just use a bundle me in the carseat.

I had an August baby in 2011 which was record heat waves for Texas. I won't lie, it really, really sucked.

And I remember even saying "the only thing worse than being due in August would be being due in September, because then you have to pregnant all throughout August as well."

Well jokes on me because our surprise number 3 is due in Sept! We are getting a patio cover built and I plan to do lots of time in the baby pool with my two boys instead of taking them out to pools. Since I won't really be able to manage a 3 year old and a 1 year old in the pool with a huge belly. I know they will want to be outside so it's not an option for me to just stay in all the time.
