I know I can't possibly be the only one having such a hard time sleeping...
I work most of the day away, I'm always up by 7:30/8 and falling asleep on the couch usually around 10:30pm...which is so not like me...
so needless to say, I'm not having a hard time falling asleep.
Staying asleep is my problem. I am a stomach sleeper, but have broken myself of that... sleeping on my back usually causes shortness of breath so I usually wake up.
When I lay on my side I usually end up rolling over to my back which in turn wakes me up...

what are you ladies doing to help you sleep through the night? Does a body pillow really help that much?

I had a body pillow and a wedge with DD but none of them really helped all that much. This time I can't stay asleep and wake up every 30 mins. I mentioned it to my doctor and she said just a lovely side effect of hormones. Wonderful. I wake up at 6am everyday and by 8pm i'm dying for bed haha DD crawling into bed at all hours and climbing on me doesn't help either

I wake up every time I change positions, and I wish I was kidding. I have several king size pillows I use to prop myself into position and for the most part they do help some, but some nights I toss and turn so much the pillows end up across the room =\ I have found I sleep better on the couch because I don't toss around so much, and therefore don't wake up as often. But it's still not a perfect solution.

My pillows seem to help me. I put a pillow behind me and one in between my legs. I still wake up a lot though because I always have to pee

Yea I use two pillows one between the legs and one for my belly to kinda rest on. And then I toss n turn alot also. And it seems like when I do fall asleep good then I either have a nightmare( the other night I got caught by the SAW guy and stuck in one of his "games") Or i fall asleep just as DD or DH is waking.

I can't even remember the last time I managed to stay up past 9; 8:30 is a stretch sometimes! But then I wake up around 1:30 and am up till 3 or if not then I wake up at 3:30 and that's it. I did the same thing with my first son so I agree on the hormones causing it.

It never fails as soon as I get comfortable and asleep, I have to go to the bathroom. I had a body pillow with dd that I used, I need to buy a new one, I was given one but it is really flat.

I am definitely starting to get tired easier again. I've been good for the last couple months but 9:00 is my cutoff time now. I have some nights where I sleep great, and other nights not so much. I don't have too much problems getting comfortable yet, but I do need to change positions more frequently than I used to. It takes me longer to fall back asleep after my middle-of-the-night pee breaks.

I love my body pillow but still wake about 3-5 times per night. Each time I wake, I use the bathroom.

I use a body pillow and a wedge. I used the wedge with DD to support my belly. I don't need it for that yet, but I find it does help keep me in position better. I am usually a stomach sleeper, as well. I have NEVER been a back sleeper, but I find that I wake up on my back a lot, which stresses me out. With the body pillow behind me and the wedge in front of me, I find that I stay on my side better. I sleep like garbage b/c of joint pain tho. No amount or arrangement of pillows I have tried so far seem to help that. Good luck! I hope you find something that helps you!

I just have pregnancy insomnia and it sucks. It seems the few nights I am sleeping great, ds is up a lot.
