There is something wrong with our plumbing, pun totally intended. I woke up to pee but the toilet was bubbling as dh showered to get ready for work, then the toilet overflowed as we tried figure it out and the bathtub backed up and had water collect in it. Guess who is going to have to clean and bleach all of that? Me.
On top of that my cervix hurts, I've slept less than normal, and the kicker feeling sick to my stomach..... Sigh. I can just guess how the rest of my morning will go. Also, dd loves taking baths- so not happening till we can get a plumber here. Also, in the iinterest of saving money dh is willing to fix it himself. No, he's not a plumber. Also not happening. Definitely don't want this to happen after I've given birth. What a morning.

Oh no...I hope you can get a plumber quickly and it's a fast/easy fix. My DH likes to fix things himself too, and sometimes you just want it done quickly and without all the stress, I get where you're coming from and hope he's reasonable about having the plumber come!

We're having a plumber come out tomorrow morning. We have one bathroom downstairs and it seems completely unaffected by the situation. It's just the upstairs apparently. This means I have to go up and down the stairs ten times a night. Yey.
At least dh called around and got a plumber scheduled.

Sorry you had an awful morning! Glad your husband called a plumber. That should at least alleviate some of the potential stress. My husband loves to fix things too, so I know how it could turn into a large, long, expensive project. Hope your day got better!

I'm sorry that your day started out so crummy, and that you're dealing with this plumbing issue on top of everything else. Glad that your husband actually called and made the appointment with the plumber though! We need to get one out here for a toilet that is leaking water somehow, and it's been 2 days and my husband has yet to get on it. :/

It did get better! The plumber came and apparently we just have to replace a toilet and not use flushable wipes. That's pretty good news to me so now I can relax about that and I can use the bathroom upstairs again, no need to climb up and down the stairs. By the time I got to the top of the stairs I had to go to the bathroom again.

Hope your day has been better than the morning. My grandfather was like that. He liked to fix everything himself. Except with duct tape. My mom bought the house from my grandparents and sometimes when they are replacing or having something fixed and it has duct tape on it, we always say "Well, we know Papa did that one."
