I never heard back from my doctor's office yesterday. Luckily the bleeding stopped, TMI it wasn't enough to soak a pad so I'm hoping it was just some spotting. I called them back today and the nurse says to me, well there isn't anything can do this early anyways. I'm aware that you can't stop anything from happening, I would just like to know what is happening. She is sending me for blood work tomorrow and then Sunday. I'm going to call them again on Monday and ask for an early u/s since I wouldn't normally get one until 11 - 13 weeks.

Thanks again for all your thoughts and prayers yesterday, hopefully they helped!

I find my doctor is more compassionate than his nurses, they can be downright cold on the phone. Even though they might not be able to do a lot, peace of mind goes a long ways. Hope you get good news.

different offices are just that... different.

When I called the OBGYN practice I go to the first time when I found out, I kinda felt a little blown off when I expressed my concerns. They were like well it was a natural pregnancy that happened on its own, you won't be seen till 8 weeks and made my appointment. No blood draws, nothing.

Well I didn't feel comfy with that, so I called them back a few days later and asked to leave a message with one of the doctors nurses that is a high risk doc and deals with infertility. Thankfully doing that got me in right away for blood work and then a few days later an U/S.

Some practices just won't do anything though.
