This is very weird... We rented "Sinister" and watched it tonight. Normally I love a good scary movie, but the problem is that I havent seen a GOOD scary in a long time. They all just seem corny and predictable. This movie honestly disturbed me. I felt like I was going to have a panic attack watching it, and even closed my eyes a few times! I Closed My Eyes!!! I feel like Im getting soft! Lol Could it be a hormonal thing?
Also, Ive noticed the past couple weeks, Ive been really jumpy. Any unexpected noise or anything scares the crap outta me! Whats happening? Why am I such a scaredy-cat?

I used to looove scary movies. When I became pregnant with my first son I developed anxiety and couldnt handle violence like I used to.

I just completely stay away from violence, gore and horror during pregnancy. They just make me uncomfortable..must be the hormones, but I've also gotten overall too soft after DD was born...I hardly enjoy scary or violent movies anymore...

I have never liked them, but they have bothered me even more since DS. Can't stand em now.

Cautiously expecting a little one sometime in June, and always remembering my 5 little ones that left too soon.

I hated Sinister! lol DH and I got to go to the movies to see that one, and it was the only date day we had in a long time. We had high expectations for it because we loved Insidious. Unfortunately, we hated Paranormal Activity, and that was by the same people. Now there's a 33% chance their movies are good to us. lol

Try The Woman in Black. Best scary movie in a long time! Insidious is also good. Neither are very gruesome.

Funny enough, I can't watch them since becoming a mom either.
I also don't like roller coasters like I used to. So strange.
