So Alayna has decided 5am is bedtime lately. She sleeps all day no matter what i try to do to keep her awake! Its crazy!!I mean she sleeps through diaper changes, clothes changes baths.. everything! I desperately need to flip her schedule so any tips on how to keep a baby awake?!

Keep her near a sunny window, lots of background noise, talk to her a lot. Keep the temp in the house down a bit and strip her down to her diaper. I stopped putting Lucy in the fleece sleepers bc they were making her too cozy and she's sleep all day! Lately she's been in only one layer around the house.
Get her some fresh air during the day.
Establish a solid bedtime routine- bath, lotion, jammies, book, eat, then bed (or however you want to do it!)
I know it seems impossible right now, but she'll get back in track. You just need to give her some encouragment.
And at night, do everything opposite- dim lights, low noise, don't talk to her or make eye contact. Keep her warm and cozy. I know it sounds harsh but it's crucial to helping establish between day and night! We want them to realize daytime=FUN! And nighttime=calm and rest, bc nothing else better is happening

I'm having this problem between 5pm and bedtime. It's the only time he wants to nap, but it screws up his nighttime sleeping!

We have this problem during the day but he has started to work himself out of it, luckily I have found that keeping him cooler seems to help. I was always worried about keeping him snuggled and super cozy warm but all that did was make him sleep. Even the small switch from a long sleeved to short sleeved onesie has helped.

Thanks *Kiliki* for my amazingly perfect siggy!

Is she not sleeping at night? Lincoln sleeps most of the day, but honestly he still sleeps most of the time, period. He's just not awake very much yet so we haven't run into this issue yet. Although he was awake more than normal yesterday afternoon/evening and he did sleep better last night, so maybe I need to be keeping him awake a little more too.

I tried everything suggested and it seemed to work a little bit! we got to bed at about 2:30m which is a definate improvement!~!! THANK YOU! and what she has been doing is sleeping all day until around 7pm just waking up briefly to eat every so often then she would wake up around 7 and stay awake until 4-5am!! it is driving me crazy!!!
