Hey ya'll I know I talk alot about m/s because it's really kicking my butt!
But what makes it worse is the acid that comes up either before or after I throw up really bad. I tried Tums but I just puke them up really quick!
Anyone know any good remedies?
Sourdough bread seemed to help, but I ate a whole loaf in two days and I cannot live on bread alone.
Excuse me if my typing is bad There's probably a baby in my arms.

I find that yogurt helps, so maybe sourdough bread with a side of yogurt? No one can live on this alone, but as a temporary solution, why not?

I have pregnancy induced acid reflux, and sometimes with it you can regurgitate. No nausea with that just suddenly your meal. I'm living on bread, cheese, vitamins, and a ton of water right now. Bread seems to be the only thing that helps. I do get some really bad heartburn sometimes. Not too often, I mainly get the other stuff. I have a constant pressure in my neck and chest, way too much saliva, lot of burping, clearing my throat all the time, etc. I don't feel this till after I eat.

The hormones in us can relax that sphincter at the top of our stomachs. With the heartburn your getting, you might ask the doctor about it. When I found the right reflux medicine for me, it made me feel almost normal. I had this combines with hyperemesis my other pregnancies. I didn't even find out about the reflux till the middle of the last one. It's really miserable, I'm sorry you're so sick.

But ask about it. I remember those burning vomit sessions from DD2.

I've been trying tums too. I figure that yellow/green stuff is part of the problem because as soon as its up I feel better for about 5 minutes.

sometimes tums, but I can't stand the taste of them. I went and got Maylox sp? as much as I hate the taste, it does stop the acid.
