So I got one of those people asking questions today..the ones that don't know when to stop and can't pick up on the obvious "Don't mess with me" vibes I radiate.

First question: "When you gonna have that baby?"
Response: "When its ready to be born."
Second question: "How far along are you?"
Response: "Not far enough."

Now, after two obvious brush offs like that, you'd think he'd get the point, right???

Third question: "You havin' twins?"
Response: "I think that's between me and my uterus, don't you?" *stomps off*

Last time people asked me all the time if I was having twins. No one has said that this time even though I am pretty sure that I am bigger. Maybe I look more intimidating now.

Goodness. I think that this should be on the list of things that you just don't ask, along with how old a woman is or how much she weighs.

Dang I have to remember to tell someone that kind of stuff when people ask me. I would love to see the look on their faces if they got the hint LOL
Obviously your person needs a kick in the shins!

I had a grandma ask me the twins question this afternoon while I was picking DS1 up from school. I waddled up to the waiting area looking rough (I know I looked rough because I had just woken up from a nap with a pounding headache and ran out the door to get there in time). And I gave the two grandma's that I always stand with a weak smile. One of them looked at me and said "next month right!" And I said yes & that it couldn't come fast enough. And she blurts out "You havin twins!?" I tried reminding myself that she's an old lady.....don't strike the old lady.....we're on school grounds. Hahaha I looked down and she touched my stomach & I said "No twins, just one big baby I guess" and thankfully the bell rang so I grabbed DS as he came out the door and off we went.
Argh, people.

Personally I don't mind the friendly "how far along?" questions.. but if they think they are funny suggesting I'm having twins.. I can't even pretend to laugh at that anymore. Cmon people, get some new material!
