I totally took a trip to the bathroom 20 minutes ago kind of because I had to go, but mostly in hopes of lulling the hiccups away! They drive me BATTY!

Hiccups used to be cute. Now they are like he is purposely trying to bruise my insides. Thankfully they are no longer 4-5 times a day for me, only maybe 2-3.

This baby has had hiccups a lot more than Grace did. I only ever noticed them once or twice with her, but this time it's multiple times a day.

My daughter has had them 6+ times per day since she was born. They usually hit at night. The pediatrician said that it is completely normal (and that night is when they usually hit). The only thing I can do to help is put her on her stomach on my chest. So I spend a lot of nights with her on my chest which is not great for my sleep. Today the hiccups have been during the day so hopefully she is getting her days and nights straight.

It seems to vary by baby. My last one had them ALL the time. This time, I think I've felt them a total of maybe once or twice, which was the same with my other kids. I agree that they start out as cute, or even remain cute when they're infrequent, but constantly, they get annoying quickly.
