When I am pregnant, I cry over the silliest stuff. all. the. time. So when something comes on that would make a normal person tear up a little, I become a hot mess.

My husband and I were watching the series Africa. It's one of those nature documentaries, I think on Discovery channel. They were filming some elephants in the middle of a draught, there was no food for these poor creatures and the mothers were not even able to produce any milk for their calves. In one scene, one of the moms lost her calf. It was soooooo upsetting to me, I was bawling like a baby. My husband was laughing at me!!! They interviewed the camera man later, and he said that in this instance if he could have helped, he would have, but he felt as helpless as the mom elephant did. Usually when we watch these kinds of shows, I just shrug it off and say "that's nature, the circle of life..." but apparently when I'm pregnant I just can't handle the cruelty of the natural world....

Anyone else turn into a mess at the smallest things?

Click the blinkies!

Thank You, Pattyandthemoos, for my beautiful siggy!

It wasn't small, but usually news doesn't get to me.

Having suffered post-partum really severely in the past, a news story about a

**warning - graphic**

new mother jumping out of a high window with her baby in her arms just destroyed me this morning.

In fact, my eyes are getting wet again just thinking about it enough to write this post.

I remember watching toy story 2 while pg with my dd and crying my eyes out during the part when Jesse gets left behind by her owner. I felt absolutely mental.

I watched a little bit of my sons Kindergarten graduation video with my little girl yesterday, and I started bawling looking at how little he looked!!! Note to self, don't watch anymore while pregnant.

Um yes! I am a total cry baby. I feel so stupid. My kid was beat down this weekend during soccer games and was really taking it hard, I was trying so hard to not cry. I felt like an idiot.
