is it bad that at 20+6 i can only feel bub kick (or at least what i think is kicking and movement) when im virtually or totally horizontal and have a pretty much full bladder. i know a lot of ladies can already predict times of movement but all i know is bub doesnt start to go until around 11pm and then really goes for it after 1230am. Iv been able to feel tiny bumps since week 19 but i was unsure if that was what it was (FTM) guess im just freaking myself out that i dont feel movement as much as i thought i would :/

someone please tell me im not mental :/ lol

There could be a lot of things as to why you haven't felt much movement. I think since you have felt some already that is a great sign!

DH and I were just talking about this the other night. With our first I swear he only moved from like 10 PM to about 11:30 PM. I rarely felt him through out the day and he really wasn't all that strong. I thought he was strong until this pregnancy... wholly moley this baby moves all day and really catches me off guard. Just shows that each baby is different. Personally I am a little nervous. My first is so laid back and chill which kinda reminds me of his stay in my belly... this one is on the go all the time. I bet she comes out hell on wheels.

Thank you Vicki for my AMAZING siggy!

Tucker moves on occasion during the day, but most the time I feel him when him when I'm laying down. I've had a few big distinguished movements but lost of his are tiny bumps an rolls, I have anterior placenta. It's okay your only 20 weeks an some change, my DS I didn't really feel until 23+

I wouldn't worry! Honestly, it still pretty early and every baby is different. With dd, I had much stronger movements by this point. This time, baby is not much of a mover. His kicks are still fairly light and infrequent. The doctor asked me at my last appointment. I said I felt movement but it was still light. The doctor just said ok, it will become much stronger in the next few weeks. I am not worried. I'm sure baby will be rolling all over in the next few weeks. Btw, I am 21 weeks exactly so about the same as you.

It definitely depends on the baby! My first moved ALL the time.. the second sisnt move as often but had really big forceful movement when she did move, and my son moved the least .. he was more of a slider than a puncher... Also I can't remember, did you say you had an anterior placenta? Because I have one this time and the moments feel so different ... I still can't really tell what kind of movements this one will have..

I wasn't sure I felt my DD until 22-23 weeks. It's still early and every baby is different!

I agree every baby is totally different. Give it a few more weeks and things could totally change.

Usually babies don't move as much when we are up and moving, and if they aren't that strong yet...we will usually only feel them when we are "resting". Totally common at your stage

Some FTM don't feel the baby, or aren't sure, until mid 20s. Up until last week my baby was active for a very short time in the morning and then for a while between 10pm and midnight, or at least that's when I was noticing her moving. For the past few days she's been making herself known more during the day as well. As your baby grows and gets stronger you should notice more movements during the day and stronger movements.

I didn't start feeling a lot until about 18.5 weeks - I began to notice her most active times, then. I wouldn't worry too much. But you can always ask your doctor! Questions are good

Thanks so much Claire for my awesome siggy
