So anytime I have a problem I always google home remedies to fix it. Right now my skin has been super greasy and breaking out like crazy. I googled it and decided to try baking soda as an exfoliator with a little bit of warm water. After I washed it off, I added a dab of olive oil to my face, around my eyes and anywhere that felt dry.

Well- IT WORKED! For two days now, my skin is super soft and smooth!

So that had me wondering...any one else have any tried and true home remedies for anything???

I have home remedies for everything. name an ailment and I'll tell you a remedy. another thing for oily skin is apple cider vinegar as a toner.

Ya, I've become a real crunchy granola hippie since having kids. We avoid medicine and chemicals where ever we can.

Coconut oil and good Apple Cider Vinegar can fix almost anything, lol.

I have used baking soda before and it is great for exfoliating and it has antibacterial properties to help fight acne.

Coconut oil is great as well.

Olive oil for dry hair for 20 minutes with the blow dryer heating it up is good for over dry and processed hair.

Also, steam is good for opening up your pores before doing a deep cleaning or using baking soda.

I'm not very granola personally, but there are a few things that really do work.

I've been using baking soda on my face for probably 3 years It works so much better than expensive acne things!
I also use olive oil in my baths when I need a good moisturizer.
