Do you wear regular shirts after baby is home, or do you wear nursing tops?

When DD was born, I bought a few nursing tank tops to wear around the house. They were totally schlubby and I would never wear them out, but they were cheap and comfy and it made it easier to nurse at home. I ended up having to go back to work when DD was just a few weeks old, so I never found the need to buy nursing tops that were nice enough to leave the house in. I pumped at work, but since I was doing it in private, I just lifted my shirt.

This time around I'm hoping to be able to breastfeed longer, and I'm a stay at home mom now, so I don't have to worry about going back to work and pumping. I plan to buy some comfy stuff to wear at home as well as a few nicer tops for when I'm out and about.

I wore tank tops under my shirts all the time with dd, they're low cut so I could just pull them down. Since it'll be warm weather when baby comes I plan to just wear tanks most the time!

I had a few nursing tops but found it easier to layer. I had thin tank tops/cami's that I would wear under regular tops and just pull the top layer up to nurse. The tanks/cami's were stretchy enough that I just pulled them down with my nursing bra (a must) when it was time to nurse!

A regular top - although you want easy access. Love a tank top.

I mostly wore regular tops, but when you pull up your shirt your whole torso shows so this time I want to buy several tank tops/nursing tank tops and wear those under my regular shirts so when I pull up my shirt, they cover me.

I have a couple nursing tanks that are decent enough to wear out in public, but otherwise I just wear regular shirts. It's so dang hot here in the summer that I don't layer. I just let baby cover my tummy. Not much gets exposed anyway.

I've tried a couple of nursing tops over the years and never had one that fit me well (I'm very tall). So I just use regular clothes.
