I am starting to get a little anxious that I am behind getting stuff done! I know I still have 3 months left but... in just a few short weeks it'll only be 7 weeks until the baby is considered "full term"!!
I still need to get carseat/stroller, crib or bassinet.. etc... And I feel like a first time mom again!! I can't remember everything I need... I feel like baby is going to get here and we'll be missing something important lol!!

How is everyone else feeling as far as preparedness goes?

Im not that worried. I feel like we can buy a stroller after the baby and crib too. We just need bassinet and carseat figured out.

I saw this and went "I NEED TO RING THE CHILDBIRTH CLASS PEOPLE" because my midwife has been nagging me about leaving that too late for the past 3 months.

I ring them "Our office hours are 1pm-4pm Tuesday and Wednesday"
Seriously? That's pretty darn limited.

So I am very behind with that.

As far as things for baby, I think I'll be okay after my showers. Right now I feel behind because of having to wait until June... But I'm buying little stuff here and there.

I'm definitely behind and probably would be behind until 36 weeks when I get off bedrest .. I still don't hardly have anything .. I just hope I have the energy to do everything I need to do then.

I feel behind as well. We haven't started on a room AT ALL. We have a swing, bouncer and a few things and some clothes, but nothing like we need to. I feel like I need the room ready so I can start packing it with stuff and that is still a few weeks out..

We are always behind our intended schedule for anything! (Thank goodness we've learned to build in buffers.) That's why I loved it when my childbirth instructor said all you need is a boob, a blanket, some diapers, and a carseat. There's no reason DH can't run out and buy the last 3 while you're in the hospital.

Seriously, though, unless the baby is terribly premature, I think we'll be ready. We had hoped to do more house projects before the birth, and unfortunately I think those will be more limited than planned.

I just feel so so chill about this baby.. I feel like I am not going to get motivated to do anything to get ready and ill get home from the hospital and be like "oh hey, honey can you run up to the attic and grab x gender bag of baby clothes.." And that's really all I need to do... Haha.. I have a carseat but need the infant insert.. I def have some stuff I really want to get done before this one is born,, but I am really feeling like I have all the time in the world.. I think after my friend who is due in may has her baby I will kick into gear..

I've done nothing yet. I doubt we will be ready at all when the baby comes. I feel so sick still and so exhausted, I can hardly get out of bed. I feel really bad about it.

I was feeling like that but I'm more relaxed now all the sudden. I really like to be prepared ahead of time so I'm set on his bed, clothes, bottles, cloth diapers, and stuff like bibs, blankets, Pacis, etc..but I'm a little stressed about the car seat because I want to buy one now & get it over with but MIL insists she wants to buy it for us as a gift, so I have to wait. Other then the car seat the only other stuff I absolutely need are small things so not a big deal to pick those up whenever I get a chance.

I don't know if I necessarily feel behind, or just overwhelmed. There's still lots of stuff that needs to get done, but some of it has to wait until the weather is nicer (bringing my old dresser out, sanding it down and repainting it is an outside-job and the cold & rain we've been getting isn't gonna cut it). Baby's crib is together and we finally got a car seat, but the crib is in the wrong spot and I'm still not sure how to maneuver both kids in the same room...

It's probably just our mama instincts stressing us out, right?!

I definitely feel that pressure sometimes. Knowing she will most likely be here early makes it more urgent, but there's absolutely nothing I can do so I can't stress over it too much. I just have to let it go.

Thanks so much Claire for my awesome siggy
