Well, last night I had a very loose bowel movement, and when I wiped there was quite a bit of blood. It was definitely coming from the back end, not my vagina, so I don't worry about the baby. But, what do you do to calm these down? I can't tell if it is hemerroids as nothing is noticeable on the outside, but I have heard they can be on the inside too. Any thoughts/ideas?

You can definitely have them on the inside! That's how mine were last pregnancy

The Drs office only suggested Tucks pads in my underwear, and someone else suggested putting the hemorrhoid creme (over the counter) ON the Tucks pad and in my underwear.

Unfortunately in my case I learned that I had to just suffer through it because these things didn't work

I dont think I've ever had one that I remember but I wonder if a call into your doctor would give you a better idea of how to treat them? They sound painful!

I have them even not pregnant, but they could be fissures too and not hemmies or like you said could be on the inside. Definitely worth mentioning to your ob at your next appt. I've used tucks and cream and some prescription stuff too. Drinking lots of water and a high fiber diet helps too.

Sometimes hemorrhoids can burst and bleed. There is really not much you can do about it. I had them really bad with my last pregnancy and they were so painful, all I could do was cry because creams and medicated wipes did nothing. I feel bad for anyone who experiences these awful things.
