2 weeks ago, I was sick. Stuffed nose, sore throat, painful chest and cough, body aches. Then, DD got it but worse. She had high fevers, got pink eye and was miserable. The day after DD got sick, DH got a fever and stuffed nose and two days ago, DS got it and he's been miserable, 104 fevers, cough, runny nose, exhausted.

So, I would figure that now that it's made it's round through all of us, it SHOULD be done, right? Nope. I woke up this morning with a sore, swollen throat and throughout the day, it's just getting worse. My body aches, my ears hurts, my nose burns and I have a low-grade fever that I have a feeling isn't going to stay low grade for long, by the way my joints ache.

Super awesome.

Ugh. My husband brought that same sort of virus home when my son was 8 weeks old. I did all I could to keep our son from getting it but I guess my hubby spread it to me before he even knew he had it. Fever, chills, body aches, cough and sore throat. My hubby's fever got to 104 and he went to the ER, it wouldn't break for nothing! Then mine got to 103.9 and I called the ER to make sure it was safe to keep breast feeding. They said that was the best thing to do. Needless to say our son ended up with it and stayed 48hrs in the hospital. That was the sickest I have been in my whole life. I lysoled our whole house and washed everything I could in hot water. They never told us what it was, but he tested negative for RSV and the FLU but his doc said he needed fluids and to be observed since he had a fever over 100.4
It was so scary!
I hope y'all feel better.

Oh! And here's a tip to get fever down and sooth your throat.
Fill a cup 3/4 full of chopped or crushed ice
Add a table spoon or 2 of lime juice (fresh squeezed is better)
And salt to taste.
Be careful with sodium intake since we are prego, I grew up on that suffering from recurring tonsillitis and then I ate it after my tonsils were removed.

Thanks ladies.

DH, of course, woke up with a sore throat this morning. I don't know if it's a
"I have a sore throat because your sick and I can never just let you not feel well without trying to one up you" sore throat or if he's got allergies or what. But, I am going to be pissed if he's getting sick again, too.
