The difference between contractions and just strange sensations, but i don't...at times....!

Sometimes I know for a fact that i am having a contraction and then others i just "think" that i am, but i am not sure. All day today my belly has been soooo sore!! literally painful like someone has placed and ball in my stomach and is pumping it up until i can't stand it any more!!! She must be growing like crazy.

Also, her head is right up under my boobs and its killing me! I don't know what is worse...the pelvic pain when they are head down and feel as though they will fall out at any moment or the rock hard head under your chest preventing you from bending, or breathing at all....ugh.

I am so wanting to be done. AND i have a confession... i am secretly hoping that when they do the version on Tuesday that after she is turned i will go into labor soon due to the roughness of it on my uterus. haha, just wishful thinking....

I have no idea what contractions feel like. I assume that when my back starts to ache like it did when I had my period and it only lasts a few seconds or minutes, then goes away..and comes back a few minutes later. It's sometimes accompanied shortly after by a tightening sensation or cramping in my front, but it only happens a few times and it's over.

I hope I know what labor feels like when it's actually happening! (I know I will, but it's all so new to me.)

A good way to tell is to take a warm shower. If the sensations pass, then it's not labor. If they continue after a relaxing shower, drinking some water, and laying on your left side, then it is the real deal.

With both of my girls, I had real contractions for a week before they were actually born. They were strong contractions but never got closer together (15 minutes apart) or increasingly painful until it was actually time

THIS times a thousand!! This is my biggest fear right now, not knowing when I'm in labor. My mom has told me she never knew she was in labor until her contractions were 5 min. apart. So now I'm paranoid that I won't know I'm in labor, and we won't make it to the hospital in time. This is legitimately like the only thing I've worried about lately.

Thank you *Kiliki* for the beautiful siggy
