I am not. I used a 25 year old Doner Egg though so I don't need to. Plus before IVF DH had ever genetic issue test ran possible.

I'd rather have a blood draw then the amnio ANY DAY.

It's not the same as an amnio, as an amnio is invasive and has 100% certainty, thus can be called "diagnostic", whereas the new blood tests you are discussing (MaterniT21 Plus, Harmony, Pandora and Verifi) are VERY accurate, but still have a very slight chance for false positive or false negative.

Anyway, yes I'm getting the MaterniT21 Plus test done at almost 11 weeks March 24 is my blood draw. It takes about 2 weeks for the results to come it. I do have to go in on Mar 23 for the genetics counseling, but I already talked to the GC and I'm pretty stoked to get this done.

They (my MFM office) won't let me get both the integrated quad screening and the M21+, but they say the M21+ is a better tool than the integrated quad blood screening and so I'll get it!

I'm still getting the NT scan done too

Yes. I will at least be getting the NT scan. MaterniT21 was not an option when I was pregnant with my daughter but if offered to me, I will take it.

I just had my first OBGYN appt today and I will also have this blood test at 11 wks...I need to schedule it now. I don't think I will do any other invasive tests....they are risky and sound awful.

I did have the cvs test done at 10 weeks with my last child. It was a breeze and has the Same results that an amnio would. I intended on doing that but now I may opt for the bloodwork.
