Nope. According to my doctor, baby is still floating pretty high in there as of today.

Honestly, I don't know. My midwife hasn't mentioned it, but she can feel that the baby is head down and there's an awful lot of pressure when she does it. It's just above my pelvic bones. Thing is, because I've overweight I can't tell by looking at my belly. My breathing has gotten a bit easier and I've been feeling more movement down low than up high these days. So maybe? Haha.

Yep!! At my appointment last week the ultrasound tech discovered that his head is pretty much as low in my pelvis as he can get, without actually emerging from my body. When the doctor went to check my cervix, the phrase, "Wow, his head is right there, isn't it?" came out of his mouth. So that explains all of the intense pelvic pain I've been feeling the last couple of weeks. The pain started 2 weeks ago, so I'm thinking that's when he dropped.

Thank you *Kiliki* for the beautiful siggy

I'm pretty sure he has, but we'll see what my doc says tomorrow.

No, and I doubt baby will drop since he/she is breech. i may try next week to get baby to flip so that i could actually go into labor to give the baby a trial of labor to prep the lungs. yes, I really need to do that.

Nope, Porter is still all up in my ribs and squishing my lungs. But I don't expect him to drop just yet anyways. I figure I have at least a couple more weeks of not being able to breathe, if not more. Especially if he's still breech. I feel like he's flipped, but obviously I can't tell for sure. The doctor is going to check in 2 weeks, so we will see. Hopefully he did flip!

Since Maddie was turned, she has been hitting my lower pelvis pretty hard! I can definitely feel that she is getting into position!

I don't think so, but then again I really don't have any idea how it feels even though I have a daughter, I do not ever remember a dropping feeling with her? My tummy with her stayed high and so I don't know?? How does it feel?

I think so, but I'm not sure. I was having a hard time breathing and he was always in my ribs, but now I can breathe and it's squishy under my boobs again. I feel lots of pressure in my lady parts, but only when I'm sitting on the toilet. However, I haven't noticed a big change in my belly. So, I don't know! haha

I don't think so. I never really had a hard tim breathing, so I can't go by that. My belly is still pretty high.

oh ya....he is actually as of last u/s in a cradle position not head down nor breech. also his head is in my left hip area. also many women at work comment that i have dropped and one put her hand between my chest and belly and said "Oh ya, you can fit a whole hand between your b00bs and belly so you are ready to go any day now".....not sure what that has anything to do with labor but okay!

I still feel baby REALLY high up kicking me in the ribs and still have been finding it hard to breathe BUT when I went to the OB last friday he said her head was right there and thats why I have pelvic pain and that stinkin' vericose vein on my hoo-ha LOL! So im not exactly sure if she has dropped or not....He did however say that even though her head is RIGHT THERE there is still no dialation and that cervix is closed.

no way! I can't breathe she is so high up in my lungs still, I'm not sure she is head down either. I don't remember feeling, or even being able to tell, when or if Connor ever dropped either, but man I don't remember him being so high in my rib cage either!

He's working on it! The best words a VBAC-hopeful mom can hear at an appointment: "Wow, his head feels really low!" as opposed to every appointment with DD where I'd hear, "Man, she's really floating up there." She never did engage. I have a really good feeling about this birth! He hasn't totally dropped yet, but he's pretty low. It's getting easier to sleep because he's not all up in my ribs anymore, and at night I'm starting to feel a LOT of pressure and stabby pains in my cervix. Keep going, buddy! Let's do this!!

Nope. I don't usually drop until the very end. Even the morning before I went into labor with Abri, my midwife said she was still pretty high.

He's never been very high, haven't had problems with the breathing or the ribs. Was told last week he is head down. If I sit for more than 15 minutes, I feel extreme pressure. My stomach feels heavy

She has dropped some. Everyone at work has commented on how much lower I'm carrying these days, I can breathe better lately, and my pelvic/pubic bone pain is unreal. At the dr yesterday, she said that her head was "right there" so I guess these are all good things and make it worth all the pain lol.
