Since we were recently talking about baby's eye color, I thought I would share this article I came across.

"research shows that people with blue eyes have a single, common ancestor. A team at the University of Copenhagen have tracked down a genetic mutation which took place 6-10,000 years ago and is the cause of the eye colour of all blue-eyed humans alive on the planet today."

Blue-eyed Humans Have A Single, Common Ancestor

I thought it was pretty interesting. As a Science major, maybe I'm biased

Have you come across anything interesting lately that you'd like to share?

well, technically all humans come from a single ancestor But yeah, since blue (and green) eyes are recessive, we had to come from a common ancestor with a blue eyed mutation.

I'm in biology this quarter and we've spent the last 2 weeks talking about DNA and genetics LOL
