We are measuring a week ahead....... And we are breech... So we have been everything; transverse, head down, and now breech.

Anybody have any suggestions to get him to flip? I heard the flashlight trick, music (currently trying it now... He gets very active with music.. So I placed the speakers very low... Worth a try) I will be looking into positions to try..
What have you tried? And did it work?

I don't have any personal experience, but I've always seen this site recommended with positions/movements to do to get baby to get in the right position: Spinning Babies Home

You still have a ton of time though! He can still flip back and forth a few times

We were breach and he just flip, Dr. said that we have plenty of time and he will probably flip a few more times. They can turn him when it gets closer to the end.

Love the replies you've gotten ... I wouldn't worry either.. But if you want to feel like you are doing something a friend just told me that she's been lying on her back upside down on an inverted ironing board .. (I think spinning baby mentions this position) .. She does it for like10-15 min twice a day... But honestly you've got time

I agree with spinning babies! I used it with DS2 at 34 weeks and with this baby at 31/32 weeks.

I had a breech baby and ended up having a csection. The doc would have tried to flip her but I am so glad we didn't go that way. She stayed breech because the cord was around her neck. I say let him/her flip on its own if it is going to..Just my experience of course..

I did the flash thing a few weeks ago and I don't know if it really worked but he is head down now so it don't hurt to try .. you have time for him to turn so let hope he does

I think that the other ladies gave great advice, but I'm also of the mindset that maybe there is a reason he is breech now and not to try and turn him?

Don't stress too much - I agree with Cay, maybe there's a reason he's in that position right now...but he's moved a bunch already, so isn't it likely he'll do it again?

My second daughter was breech. The doctor flipped her but not till something like 35/36 weeks I think, maybe 37. I had to stay in the hospital for baby to be monitered afterwards for a couple hours. There is some risk to having the baby flipped but on the other hand if baby doesn't flip on it's own then you have to have a c-section which also carries risks.

I was told up to 38 weeks they can still flip themselves. However, as far as advice I was told to let gravity "do the job." I haven't looked through spinning babies, myself. I hope little one turns for you eventually

Thanks so much Claire for my awesome siggy

This guy was breech until a few days ago and he finally flipped to head down he has also been transverse recently. Try not to worry I hope he flips around before the big day.
Thank you *Kiliki* for my beautiful siggy!
