Myself and the babies all have a cold. I started to feel like I had one coming around Wed of last week and sure enough I did. I was hoping I wouldn't pass it to the babies but I wasn't holding out just because of the close contact with breastfeeding. I knew they would at least be getting some antibodies if they did get it.

Last night they both woke up off and on all night and are super congested. No fevers though thankfully. I have had low grade ones. Poor Corbin has green gunk coming out whenever he sneezes and Nolan is so frustrated with breastfeeding and being congested that he gives up and then tries again in about an hour. I've been pumping a little more today to try and get more out in case I need to give them both bottles. I want to make sure they are getting in enough, esp Corbin since we are just now starting to get past the weight issues I don't want him to have a setback. Last night I had a feeling something was coming because we give both of them an oz in a bottle right before their 10pm(ish) feeding and Nolan refused the bottle and just wanted to nurse. This is odd for him because since we first started the bottles Nolan loves it at night and uses it to get in his food quick and then nurses to sleep.

So yay for us we have our first cold at 3 weeks old :/ We'll be taking another trip into the pedi tomorrow but when I called they just said there was nothing they could really do. As long as they don't have a fever then we just need to comfort them and make sure they are eating.
