I can't remember if I had it with my last. (My only planned section, first two kiddos I know I had it done). So do they do it with a planned section? I have my 35 week appt tomorrow so I'd like to be prepare if they plan on going down there.

I think most Drs do it anyway just in case your water breaks before your c section.
Good luck!

I was checked at the 36week appointment. Its my first so not sure of any "normal" with c-section.. but 36 weeks seems normal. If you arent going back at 36 they might do it at 35..

I think they do it with everyone at 36 weeks. But I also think you mentioned having cholestatsis and I had that with 2 of my 3 pregnancies and I know the new standard of care is to induce/c-section between 35 and 37 weeks with cholestasis, so they might do yours earlier. I hope you're feeling ok, I was absolutely miserable with my cholestasis pregnancies. I actually had my gallbladder removed before this one to avoid it!
