I just joined this group tonight. I know it's late in my pregnancy, but I have been overwhelmed throughout the last several months I've barely had time to breathe let alone connect with any other mommies.

I'm scheduled to have a C-section to deliver my daughter in just 11 days (woohoo!). I don't know if I will make it that long, though. I have had this odd little nagging feeling in the back of my mind since my first trimester that July 18th is when she will come in to this world. We'll see!

Really I just want to make friends, connect with other moms, and have a safe place to chat.

A little about me: I'm 26 years old. Briallen (daughter) is my second child, and my first with my husband. I have a precious 3-year-old son from a previous relationship. The father and I have joint custody, but we live in separate states, so that gets very complicated. I have health problems that have plagued me throughout this pregnancy. In this last trimester, I have been hospitalized three times already for lack of baby movement, pre-term labor, and abnormal cramping. That's been tough, and I feel very alone as I go through this.

My husband has been slow to warm up to a little girl that he's never seen or held before. He's kind of waiting to see Briallen when she's born and thinks that then he will get more involved (rolling eyes here). My family lives mostly on the East Coast, so I'm pretty much alone over here. I'd love to find some awesome ladies to just commune with.

I hope all is well with all of you!

Wow! It's amazing to see how many other families are so similar to mine!! I can't tell you how isolated I've felt since I got pregnant. My son keeps us laughing, too. The other day, he got upset with my husband for using my laptop computer. So Brandon took my wireless mouse and ran away with it so Sam couldn't use my computer any more. Brandon ran in to my room with it saying, "Here Mommy. I got the blue mouse for you!" We busted up for a while after that.

Hi. I'm Summer and I'm having a little boy named David Lee. I'm 29 and my husband is 26 adn this is our second child. I have a 7 1/2 year old daughter named Destinee Marie, from a previous marriage who lives in Alaska with her paternal grandparents (long story) and we have a 20 month old little girl named Alaina Rayne. This is our last baby since pregnancy is hard on me and financially, we can't afford anymore. I'm having a repeat C-section on Tuesday, July 23rd and my EDD is July 29th.
