Eli was born with dark blue eyes. My eyes are blue, Brian's are brown. Today, I noticed that Eli's left eye is about 1/5 brown. There's a brown spot in his iris. Anyone else experience this? It's this a progression to brown eyes or could he have a half brown eye?

Hard to say at this point some babies eyes don't fully change to their final color until 6 months to a year

My oldest daughter's right eye is blue but the top half has amber in it. Its been that way since she was a baby and hasn't changed. Both DH and I and Hailey and Zack all have blue eyes.

My mom has one blue eye and one brown. Only time will tell what will happen to Eli tho. He still has plenty of time that they could change.

My DD's eyes didn't stop changing until she was 2 and they settled on hazel. There's no way to know what they'll do!

We have a mom in my November group whose daughter has two different eye colors in each eye. I agree only time will tell what Eli's will do.

A doc (GP) mentioned to me that babies with lighter blue or bright blue eyes tend to stay blue. Babies with darker blue have a greater chance of changing. Although she mentioned this to me as a friend outside of the office so not sure how scientific it is.
