So I'm trying to not spend everyday gettin my hopes up that its "The Day" just to be disappointed when its not. I have 9 days left at the most so I am going to try to enjoy them doing things I won't be able todo once the baby is here!

Besides sleep lol what should I be doing that I'm not going to be able to do once I have a baby??

Go out on dates with your hubby! Personally, I think tiny babies are pretty portable, but with feeding schedules and diapers and postpartum recovery it might be a little while before you want to go out.

So, go to your favorite crowded or loud places that you wouldn't want to take a newborn. Go to that tiny intimate little bistro, go to movies, and enjoy your time together before you're both so smitten with baby that your relationship takes a bit of a temporary back seat.

And don't forget to go get a mani/pedi or get your hair done or whatever floats your boat to feel pampered and pretty--there will be SO many pictures taken once baby is here.

Totally agree with Jenilope Since you have at most 9 days I would do a big grocery run to make sure you are stocked up with whatever you might want because you probably won't feel like going grocery shopping right away. Freezing meals is also a great idea.

Go spend time with family or good friends bc you will be so into baby for a while that you may not see them as much for a while

I'm a FTM and I had my hopes up so high that she'd be early... well, today is my EDD I'm actually relieved at this point because now I can just sit back and wait without expectations, since I've already passed the point.

Thank you, Jaidynsmum, for the amazing siggy

I've had symptoms for weeks but still nothing. I have cramping/minute long contractions everyday/all day. I went from no dilation or efface meant to almost a 3 and 50% in a week, I've been having really thick CM and loose BM and yet no baby!!?? I'm trying not to let it drive me crazy lol.

It is driving me crazy waiting! And this is my second child--for some reason last time I wasn't nearly so impatient. Last time I went 2 weeks over. This time I am only 38 weeks and have felt like it could be any day now for the last couple days at least. The dr. says i am 4 cm and 50%. I am having a really hard time with the planning and being very emotional. But i am trying to clean and prepare and stay calm . . .

Totally agree about spending time with your hubby. Sleeping is a good idea too.
