Has anyone else started packing their bag? Or have it packed.

I swore I wasn't gonna do it till I was on the way to the hospital but since I got hit with the cleaning and organizing bug, I went ahead and got mine ready.

I have a sticky note on the TV in my room with the stuff that is not in there that needs to be added.

The only things not in there are my ipod/pad/phone, chargers, pillows, and a certain pair of shoes.

Now that I decided to pack I have sentenced myself to having this baby as late as possible now. LOL

I had the cleaning bug but then it got squashed by that horrible incident I had with the cosleeper. Now my house is sort of booby-trapped and I don't want to create a disturbance so I'm mostly leaving everything alone. That said; I need to get up the DE i put in the carpet and put down some of the food-grade. From then on I'll be able to get back to work. Grr.

Also my current greatest concern is getting furniture in the baby's room since there's a dismantled crib and an assembled PnP and that's all right now. After that I'll worry about hospital bags and installing the carseat and such things. I've still got 3 weeks before I'm full term, so I'm counting on the little dude staying parked for at least that long.

That said, you never know when OMG NESTING is going to strike or if it will, so everything I'm saying might just be hogwash.

I have a pair of yoga pants, socks and my toiletries in there so far, lol. I still haven't decided what to bring for her to wear home so that will most likely be the last thing packed along with my cell phone charger and camera. I still need buy some slippers and a nice, big comfy tee shirt to wear home too. I don't have my nursing bra's or nursing pads yet so I can't pack those till after my shower.

Nppe not even close. I didn't pack my hospital bag for DD until I was 36 weeks. Thinking I'll do the same with this one.

Not yet. I have her outfits and some swaddling blankets in her diaper bag, but other than that, nothing.

Once I get his diaper bag in from etsy I will pack that I have everything washed and put aside to go in there well almost everything I need to find a new coming home outfit the one we picked out is too bulky. Now my hospital bag I haven't even started getting ready, I am going shopping this weekend for the stuff for it. Getting a few pairs of yoga pants, tank tops, hoodie, and going to bath and body works to get some travel size stuff mom has a 15% off code of something so YAY! Then I think I'll pack after my 35 week appointment next Friday. Hopefully I wont forget anything.

Thank you Jaidynsmum for the awesome siggy!

Nothing yet. I'm bad about buying clothes that are necessary for myself, so I'm wearing my one pair of yoga pants. I just can't see letting clothing sit for weeks. The rest is stuff I use all the time, so it'll probably be last minute stuff here. Fortunately I'm close to the hospital so even if labor goes unexpectedly super quick, it'll be a little trip home for any luxuries. I'll probably pack Kuato's stuff around 35ish or so.

Funny you should ask because I JUST got started on this today. Wrote a list and went to Wal-Mart to pick up a few things I need for it that I didn't have, travel toiletries, another pair of yoga pants, a nightgown, etc. I am still waiting for DH to start putting the baby stuff together so I need something to do while I'm waiting for that and being unprepared was starting to drive me crazy. So the new stuff is in the dryer now and I will hopefully be all packed by the weekend. It will feel nice to have one thing scratched off my list!

ETA: I'm really not bringing a bag for just the baby, is that weird? I will throw his or her coming home outfit and a couple receiving blankets in my bag but other than that I really don't know what to bring for them? Last time I brought way too much stuff and the hospital supplies most of it, diapers, onesies/gowns, etc. So I won't be bringing the diaper bag, just my stuff.

I think I will do it soon. I didn't pack my bag last time until after my water broke. It was a little stressful.
