Dudes, I feel your pain. I lost 30 pounds in the first month, but still have 20 to go. I really went wild with the bad foods while I was pregnant (even though I was on the gestational diabetes diet after 24 weeks).

I am large and in charge.

I was one of those lucky women who lost everything right after giving birth. But, before you hate me, I must add that I am still losing weight and am now underweight which is causing issues like headaches and dizziness! I'm actually planning on calling the doctor soon to get my thyroid levels checked to make sure there isn't another issue here.

I've lost 27 lbs and have 4 more to go to PP. I highly suggest monitoring your calorie intake using myfitnesspal.com or a similar program/app. Weightloss is just a science. You have to burn more calories than you take in and it's best to consume those calories in low fat/low sodium foods if you're going for weight loss.

I used to be 150 when I met DH. I lost weight to be healthy for myself and to look good for him. I did most of it by diet but found that I love to exercise too. Right now I don't do ANY exercise because it would be too much of a caloric deficit for me.

If you don't eat enough calories a day you won't lose anything. (This was my problem in my first pregnancy) If you eat a certain amount you just maintain and if you eat too many you'll gain. I was really shocked that the LC tod me if I ate too few I wouldn't lose anything because my body would be in starvation mode. (this was with DD.) once I made sure I was eating enough, the weight poured off with both pregnancies and 3-6months with breastfeeders is the peak weightloss time.

Kellymom suggests cutting down to 1800 if bfeeding. If you don't see a change at 1800 drop to 1500... but if nursing dont go lower than that. I've been losing a lb a week since I cut down to 1800. The 1st 2 months I didn't care and ate whatever and didn't lose anything after leaving the hospital.

Now I eat something every 2-3 hours and have my dinner around 5pm with a snack or dessert around 7:30 or 8pm. I weigh EVERYTHING because food labels can be wrong on the amounts per serving size. You can add me if you want low calorie meal ideas or if you want to see how I spread out my meals to stay full. myfitnesspal name is nandawg .

Mommaerin , you can try green tea or green coffee bean extract for your weight loss metabolism boost up. All these foods are natural and does not produce any side effects. Also they provide many health benefits other than weight loss.
