Okay, I had one on Aug 27th and am curious about healing time. It is still very tender- like a raw wound. I can't see the stitches so am unsure if they've dissolved. I can't walk far because it becomes too painful after a few minutes.

I've never experienced this before so I am wondering about the healing time for others because I have no clue what to expect or realistic healing time.

I just know that when I had my c- section, I was walking around the block (slowly) at 2 weeks post birth.

I had to have one and was using an inflatable cushion for about 10 days after. The sutures will take several weeks to dissolve but I started feeling more comfortable after about a week. It was sore to walk up until that time, and I was using a steroid cream, witch hazel pads and a local anesthetic spray to help with it all.
