Anyone else's LO's starting to recognise food?

I know this is earl, but for the past week Audrey has been making me feel really guilty for eating in front of her, her eyes fixate on what I am eating and she starts bringing her hands to her mouth, if I give her the bottle she will have a little then turn away, so she's not actually hungry, she is just interested in what I am eating.

That is cute B generally doesn't watch me eat because she's usually asleep when I do, or she's on her play mat. When she sees the boob though, she gets all kinds of excited.

Thanks so much Claire for my awesome siggy

It's hard to say if Adelyn is actually interested in the food or what I am doing at the time. She's very active and loves to watch what others are doing. In fact this morning she was a little fussy after her bottle. I turned her towards the direction of Daddy and she was all smiles while watching him put laundry away.

That is funny, because at supper tonight we had our son in his high chair (supported with a blanket and a blanket as a cushion to help him with height) and he was using his hand to move to his mouth like he was feeding himself. Super cute!

I don't know about recognizing food, but Henry certainly knows when I'm sitting down to eat!! It's one of the few times he cries.

I can spend hours preparing a meal and he won't make a peep, but the second I sit down...

Ryan is starting to recognise food I think. I've started finally eating at the dinner table with my mom and he sits on my lap while I eat and he always watches the fork travel from my plate to my mouth lol. It's so nice to sit at the table, previously Ryan was fussy whenever I wanted to eat so I would eat on the couch with him lying on my lap eating as well.

I think he does! He will watch super intently whenever I'm eating!
