Oh yea....I went there!!!

Have you started (or finished ) your shopping yet?

What's on the list for your June Sprout?

What about older kids?

I think we're doing a toy ban on Christmas this year, I swear my child has every toy imaginable and we just don't have room for anymore! And it seems silly to get rid of any because Peyton will enjoy them at some point....it's toy madness around here!! So far on Connor's list I have Disney DVDs, a sleeping bag (already purchased) and tent, shoes/clothes, board games like candy land, hi ho cherry oh, chutes & ladders (already purchased). His BIG gift will be a kitchen.

As for Peyton....I have no idea! We have a ton of baby toys already from Connor, I know I want to get her Sophie Giraffe and she needs some tights/leggings but that's about the extent of her list LOL. Poor girl!!

I've started thinking about it. I've bought a couple small things but nothing major. I have no idea what we are going to get them though. I am not looking forward to more toys in this house.

I haven't even been THINKING about Christmas this year beyond telling grandparents to not buy noisy toys, and we would prefer he get books and blocks. Between my trip to California this week, my parents coming out here for Thanksgiving, and now my FIL is not doing great so DH is going up to Iowa for the weekend to possibly say goodbye...the whole Christmas thing hasn't even crossed my mind. Let me get through hosting Thanksgiving, and see if my FIL recovers (if he doesn't, DH wants to move us back up to Iowa ASAP), then I'll start thinking about Christmas LOL

Thank you *Kiliki* for the beautiful siggy

Let me just get through Halloween, family visits and weddings, Thanksgiving, and moving to our new house before I even *think* about it...... I doubt either G or M will be getting too many things. We don't have a ton of space for endless toys. Maybe I will think about a play kitchen for M though. We can make space for that in our new house, it has a bigger living space. And is more open to the real kitchen.

We started a Wishlist on Amazon this week. Bodhi doesn't need any toys. We have all of Bourne's infant toys, plus some. His wish list will be mostly clothes. Bourne is tough because he gets all my nephew's hand me down toys, so all the big stuff you would typically buy a 3 year old - he has (trains, train table, power wheels, cozy coupe, balance bike, etc) We also have his birthday the beginning of the Dec., so we have be double creative. I think his big gift is going to be the Kidcraft Deluxe fire rescue set). We are also getting him a remote control robot, Snoopy sno cone machine and stocking stuffers.

I was wandering up and down the toy aisles at Walmart today trying to get ideas. My stepdaughter is tough...she's 9. She's getting too old for a lot of toys but not old enough for more adult stuff.

We probably won't get a ton for Morgan, as money is tight (still paying hospital bills). I figure next Christmas will be more exciting for her so we'll take advantage of not having to spend a fortune this year.

The boys still believe in Santa so we have to get gifts for Ellianna. I am thinking of wrapping up some of the boys toys that they have long forgotten. I have their baby pots and pans, toy farm, the puppy that makes sounds, fire truck. You name the toy from 8 and 10 years ago and I have it. I am thinking that with some cleaning they are good as new. I will wrap them all up. That way the boys will think Santa brought them for Ellianna. In addition, I want to get her some of the dolls from Disney Store. The Animator's dolls are cute and regular price is $24.95. I am waiting until the day after Thanksgiving when generally they are all on sale. I know that she is young for them. I can start collecting them for her. That way she will have several dolls for when she starts playing with them. I am also thinking of getting her the annual American Girl. I know they are pricey. Since she will have mostly used, I am thinking a splurge on one item is in order. Dolls are the one item that we do not have in the house.

The boys will want the newest Skylanders and Disney Infiniti. They will be ages 9 and 11 - super hard age to purchase things. They still want packages though. One year I gave them a gift certificate for a night at Great Wolf. They loved it. I even marked the day on a calendar for when we would go. I probably would have taken them anyway. It was great to use as a present.

No idea for Henry! Probably clothes since we have all the baby toys.
Lily is getting a new bicycle and running shoes.
Abri is getting either a kid camera or Innotab

Family is getting gift baskets of things that I've canned (pickles, peaches, apple butter) and a homemade decorative pillow. We're on a budget and I like being crafty
