This is the exact reason that I recently cut 13in off my hair...it was a bit too long anyway but I just couldn't take the constant hair pulling and untangling my hair from between her fingers.

My hair is literally ALWAYS in a ponytail. It's actually because I'm losing so much hair that if I don't wear it pulled back, I'll be covered in tickle-y little hairs all the time...but it has the added benefit of not being able to be pulled by the kiddo.

I never have my hair down unless I'm washing it or sleeping.

I always have my hair up but G is a little monkey and will find any loose wisps around my neck and grab on when I carry him around. I have to pry his little fingers off going "ow ow ow" while he grins lol.

I have a teething necklace I used with M, I should start using it again. It is just a natural wood ring tied on a hemp cord. But it has a sort of cool funky look to it and M loved grabbing it while nursing and it was a backup teether or distraction during a diaper change if we were out and about. I like the wood ones, they are more my style than the bright plastic chewbeads.
